US accused of occupying Haiti

France is accusing the US of occupying Haiti as troops pour into the island country.

I think that's unfair. The Haitian police desperately want help with security and I think the Haitian government has been the one to ask for US troops. Hurling accusations around does not help. And the situation at the airport makes it all very difficult. Whoever is running that has to make the decision as to what flights come in when. I don't envy anyone in that position.
